If you were an accountant that didn’t know how to read a balance sheet, how far would you go?  If you were a doctor who had no knowledge of the map of the human body, how much healing could you offer?  If you were a scientist that didn’t underst& formulas, how much would you discover?  The answer to all these questions is the same.  Without the knowledge needed to perform the duties set before you, your outcome would be less than your very best.  As a Christian, how deep will your relationship grow with the Lord if you don’t know the truth about the One you seek?  At Park Avenue, we believe that “All Scripture is God-breathed & is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting & training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”  2 Timothy 3:16-17.  Come join us as we grow in our knowledge of God & in His righteousness.

We offer a wide variety of Bible Studies available in both the mornings & evenings throughout the week.  Please call the church for the current schedule of classes available.

Awakened - Located in Building A Room 18

This class is for young singles & couples in their 20’s & 30’s. They have a laid back discussion based class that relates Biblical truths to  real-life issues. D/L

Bible Forum - Located in Building A Room 7

This class of 50+ studies Scripture & the Bristol Series to underst& how God’s Word applies to life today. They are taught by a member of the class & enjoy diving deep into the wonders of God. They are a close-knit group that support each other & are active in church fellowship activities & missions as well. D/L

Chapel Bible Class - Located in Building A Room 35

Come & join this 50+ class as they study The International Lesson Series together & seek to  know more about the God that loves & provides for us. They meet in the Chapel & are taught by a member of the class. D

Christian Homebuilders - Located in Building A Room 5

What a wealth of knowledge abounds in this room!  Come & learn as a  member of this class that teaches from The International Lesson Series.  This group of 65+ members are active, fun, caring, loving, welcoming  & most of all committed in service to God & the ministries of Park Avenue.  They share in social events & ministry opportunities throughout the year. College Class - Located in Building B Room 21

This class ministers to those in our church & community that are in college or are college-age.  They have good strong Bible teaching by a very strong young couple in the church.  They relate & discuss God’s Word & word in their lives. D

Covenant Class - Located in Building A Room 22

This class places a high emphasis on growing in knowledge of the Bible.  It is not defined by any demographic limitation.  Not by age, not by gender, not by socio-economic status, not by marital status, nor by race.  All are present & welcome in their fellowship as they share a desire to know more of God’s Word & will. Cross Ties - Located in Building A Room 24

This is a class ranging from 40 to mid 50’s.  They are a Bible study driven class that rotates their studies based on the class interest.  They share times of fellowship both in class & out of class throughout the year.  They have singles, marrieds, & those that are divorced.  Some families have elementary, middle & high school, & college aged children. D

Fellowship Class - Located in Building A Room 15

A closely-knit, supportive group of senior adults who are independent thinkers with strong convictions.  They are a mostly lecture based class with some discussion & are led by members of the class. They study the Cokesbury International Lesson Series. D/L

Footprints - Located in Building A Room 34

This is a very devoted group ranging from their 30’s to 50’s. They are supportive of each other both spiritually & emotionally. They are led by members of the class & share in Bible studies ranging from Christian parenting, marriage enrichment, Prayer & other life issues. They are very active in the church & have many opportunities throughout the year for fellowship, learning, & support. D  

This is a warm, friendly, caring class made up of people from their 50’s to 70’s with the main purpose being to study the Bible & discuss the meaning & relevance of scriptures in daily life The International Lesson Series is used & it is led by class members, with intermittent class sessions on different specialized topics during the year.  They hold social functions throughout the year & are active in the life of the church.  A warm welcome awaits all who visit. Inspirations - Located in Building A Room 14

This class is made up of young couples from 25 to 35 in the early phases of child care & family life.  Lessons vary from topical to scriptural.  It is a great opportunity to grow in Christ & make supportive friendships.  Please come & join them as they grow together. D/L

Jars of Clay - Located in Building B Room 22

This is a small class that includes adults of all ages that encourages open discussion about a variety of topics such as current social events & how God’s Word applies to them as in the International series course of study. D

Life Builders - Located in Building B Room 25

This is a diverse class made up of mostly couples 45 to 65 years old that enjoy meeting new people.  They are caring, welcoming & conservative.  They study the Bristol Series & are led by members of the class.  Come & join this Spirit-filled class as they discover new Biblical truths. D/L

New Beginnings - Located in Building A Room 28

Led by a member of the class, this lively group enjoys lecture based lessons from the Bible.  They consist of 35+ year old members with small to middle school age children.  They are very active in the life of Park Avenue & share many opportunities to spend time together throughout the year. L

Pairs & Spares - Located in Building B Room 26

This is a diverse class of single & married adults, age 40+ with or without children.  Lessons are led by a class member using biblically-based resources that seek to relate scripture to daily life through open discussion.  The class is very active & participates in several functions throughout the year. Param - Located in Building A Room 20

Big things come in small packages is no understatement for this class!  This 65+ age class has maintained the small, quaint atmosphere so special to studying the Word.  It is led by a member of the class & studies The International Lesson Series. D/L

Potpourri - Located in Building B Room 24

This class is a diverse yet caring group of individuals who are serious about growing in their spiritual walk.  They are a lecture class with a strong focus on discussion.  They welcome all ages to join them in fellowship around the Word of God. D/L

Sojourners - Located in Building A Room 16

This is a strong intergenerational faith-based class that enjoys a discussion of Biblical facts & scripture.  They are very concerned for their members & are great at Sunday School evangelism & care.  The class covers all ages & is very accepting of new members & visitors. D
