The Nursery is in need of a few new or gently pre-owned inside infant swings.
Also, there are 4 pagers missing which we need returned for parents to use during worship services.
Please check your diaper bags, purses and vehicles for these pagers.

PURPOSE

The Nursery of Park Avenue UMC is a vital ministry that provides childcare for the children of
church members and prospective members. It allows parents opportunities such as worship,
Bible Studies, committee meetings, choir, and Parents’ Morning Out.

PHILOSOPHY

Children are a gift from God. It is a privilege to be entrusted with these special blessings.
The nursery is many children’s first experience in the family of God. Our nursery strives
to minister to young children through loving, Christian, quality care. We are not just
changing diapers. We are asking God to change lives through ministry.

GENERAL INFORMATION 

For the protection of your child and the other children, please do not bring an infant to the nursery
until they have had their first round of immunizations. This is typically between 6-8 weeks of age. 

 What to bring?

Diaper Bag suggestions: diapers, baby wipes, change of clothing, comfort item or pacifier,
formula, milk, juice or water in a plastic bottle or cup with the child’s first and
last name on it. 

P.M.O. is a ministry that is open to members, prospective members
and siblings of PAUMC preschoolers. 

P.M.O. is offered on Tuesday and Thursday from the hours of
9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.  

The cost per child is $8.00 per day. If you have more than one child in the nursery
you would pay $16.00 for two children per day and $20.00 for three or
more children per day. Either pay cash or check the day you use the
nursery or purchase a pre-paid punch card.

No reservations are required.

 If you are attending a church function
(Bible Study, UMW, Clothes Closet, working Bazaar, etc.)
you are not expected to pay for P.M.O. during that time.
